Wolves 2 – Leicester 1: Visitors unable to get win at Molineux Stadium

Wolverhampton Wanderers snatched all three points from Leicester City in a 2-1 victory on Sunday, at Molineux Stadium. Wolves were looking to continue their run, following a 2-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur. Leicester, on the other hand, secured a point against West Ham United in their previous match. As things stand, Wolves are in 7th place on the table and has 40 points while Leicester sit in 11th with 27 points after 26 matches.
Wolves started the game well, thanks to a goal from Ruben Neves, 9 minutes in. However, their lead was short lived, as Ademola Lookman equalised for The Foxes just before half-time, which brought Leicester level at 1-1 at the half time break
Wolves continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Daniel Podence, 66 minutes in. The game ended 2-1.
For Wolves, Hee-chan Hwang, Pedro Neto and Fernando Marcal, came on for Joao Moutinho, Daniel Podence and Rayan Ait-Nouri. Leicester replaced Kelechi Iheanacho and James Maddison with Patson Daka and Wilfred Ndidi.
There were bookings for Rayan Ait-Nouri, Daniel Podence, Leander Dendoncker and Ruben Neves from Wolves. For Leicester, Caglar Soyuncu, Marc Albrighton, Ademola Lookman and Ricardo Pereira saw yellow.
