Fluminense defeated Red Bull Bragantino 1-0 on Sunday at Stadium Nabi Abi Chedid (nabizao). Bragantino were hoping to get something from this game, following defeat to Fortaleza EC. Fluminense were coming from consecutive wins against Goiás EC and São Paulo. Following this match, Bragantino are now in 14th place on the table and have 44 points while Fluminense sit in 3rd with 70 points after 38 matches.

Fluminense dominated the first half, with a goal from German Cano, at 31 minutes to take them into the break 1-0 up. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
