Watford 0 – Everton 0: Goal-less draw leaves both teams frustrated

Wednesday’s fixture between Watford and Everton delivered a goalless draw at Vicarage Road. Watford were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 1-0 to Crystal Palace while Everton were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Leicester City and Chelsea. After today’s result, Watford and Everton currently occupy 19th and 16th spots in the table, with 23 points and 36 points respectively after 30 matches.

For Watford, Craig Cathcart and Oghenekaro Etebo, came on for Samuel Kalu and Edo Kayembe. Everton brought on Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Allan, to replace Demarai Gray and Fabian Delph.

There were bookings for Samir from Watford. For Everton, Mason Holgate and Seamus Coleman saw yellow.

Everton and Watford will next play at home to Brentford and Leicester City respectively.
