Watford 2 – Arsenal 3: Travelling fans rewarded with The Gunners victory

Arsenal enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday. Watford wanted to continue adding points after a scoreless draw against Manchester United in their previous match. Arsenal were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brentford. As it stands, Watford are in 19th place on the table and has 19 points while Arsenal sit in 4th with 48 points after 28 matches.
The Gunners found the net first, thanks to an early goal from Martin Odegaard in the 5th minute. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Cucho Hernandez, 11 minutes in brought The Hornets level. However, Arsenal at the 30 minute mark found the back of the net following a Bukayo Saka goal to see out the first half 1-2.
Arsenal fought back, with a goal from Gabriel Martinelli in the 52nd minute. In the end though, Watford pull-back just before the final whistle, with a goal from Moussa Sissoko, leaving the final score at 3-2.
For Watford, Edo Kayembe and Samuel Kalu, came on for Imran Louza and Tom Cleverley. Arsenal replaced Nicolas Pepe, Edward Nketiah and Rob Holding with Gabriel Martinelli, Alexandre Lacazette and Martin Odegaard.
There were bookings for Cucho Hernandez from Watford. For Arsenal, Cedric Soares and Edward Nketiah saw yellow.
Watford will next travel to Southampton, while Arsenal will face Leicester City at home.
