Spurs 0 – Brighton 1: The Seagulls travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and seal win

Brighton & Hove Albion’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, was hard fought at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both Spurs and Brighton arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Spurs were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Aston Villa away and Newcastle United at home, by 4-0 and 5-1 respectively. Brighton, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 2-1 win against Arsenal in their last match. As it stands, Spurs and Brighton sit 4th, (57 points) and 10th, (40 points), in the league respectively, after 33 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Brighton continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Leandro Trossard finding the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-0.
Spurs brought on Lucas Moura, Harry Winks and Steven Bergwijn for Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur and Heung Min Son. Brighton brought on Danny Welbeck, Adam Lallana and Solly March, to replace Enock Mwepu, Moisés Caicedo and Tariq Lamptey.
There were bookings for Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur and Emerson from Spurs. For Brighton, Enock Mwepu and Yves Bissouma saw yellow.
Spurs will next travel to Brentford, while Brighton will face Southampton at home.
