Man U 0 – Watford 0: Victory and goals elusive for both sides

Man U were held to 0-0 draw by Watford down on Saturday at Old Trafford. Both Man U and Watford arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Man U were looking to continue their run after winning their previous two games in the competition. The most recent was against the Leeds United away (4-2), the other to Brighton & Hove Albion at home (2-0). Watford, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 1-0 win against Aston Villa in their last match. Following today’s result, Man U are in 4th place on the table and has 47 points while Watford sit in 19th with 19 points after 27 matches.

Both managers used all available substitutions. For Man U, Jadon Sancho, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford, came on for Fred, Alex Telles and Nemanja Matic, Watford brought on Ken Sema, Christian Kabasele and Juraj Kucka, to replace Joshua King, Jeremy Ngakia and Tom Cleverley.

Man U will next play Manchester City away, with Watford facing Arsenal at home.
