Man U 3 – Norwich 2: The Red Devils deliver decisive win at Old Trafford

Norwich City on away loss to Man U at Old Trafford on Saturday. Man U were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 1-0 to Everton while Norwich were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-0 victory against Burnley. Following today’s result, Man U and Norwich currently occupy 5th and 20th spots in the table, with 54 points and 21 points respectively after 33 matches.
The Red Devils dominated the first half, with Cristiano Ronaldo giving Man U the lead early in the first half. Man U looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a effort from Cristiano Ronaldo at the 32 minute mark to establish a 2-0. Norwich in turn, then responded just before half-time increasing their lead with an effort from Kieran Dowell, to take a 2-1 lead into half time.
The Canaries fought back, thanks to a goal from Teemu Pukki, 52 minutes in. The Red Devils in turn, then responded at the 76 minute mark increasing their lead with a hat trick effort from Cristiano Ronaldo. The game ended with a 3-2 victory for Man U.
Both coaches used the full entitlement. For Man U, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford, came on for Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Alex Telles, Norwich brought on Billy Gilmour, Przemyslaw Placheta and Jon Rowe, to replace Kenny McLean, Kieran Dowell and Pierre Lees-Melou.
Man U will next travel to Arsenal, while Norwich will face Newcastle United at home.
