Leicester 3 – Norwich 0: Plenty of goals as The Foxes get the home win

Leicester City eased past Norwich City in a 3-0 victory on Wednesday at the King Power Stadium. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Leicester were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Everton. Norwich had lost their previous match against West Ham United. Following today’s result, Leicester are in 10th place on the table and has 45 points while Norwich sit in 20th with 21 points after 21 matches.
After a goalless first half, Leicester certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, with a goal from Jamie Vardy, at 54 minutes. The momentum was now with The Foxes, who then scored again through a second effort from Jamie Vardy at the 62 minute mark to establish a 2-0. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from James Maddison in the 70th minute to make it 3-0.
For Leicester, Nampalys Mendy, came on for Ademola Lookman. Norwich brought on Jakob Lungi Sorensen, Jon Rowe and Przemyslaw Placheta, to replace Lukas Rupp, Milot Rashica and Tony Springett.
Next up, Leicester are away to Watford, whilst Norwich will travel to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
