Leicester on home loss to Manchester United at the King Power Stadium on Thursday. Leicester were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 2-1 to Chelsea while Man U were coming from consecutive wins against Southampton and Liverpool. Leicester and Man U currently occupy 20th and 5th spots in the league, with 1 point and 9 points respectively after 5 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Man U, thanks to a goal from Jadon Sancho, 23 minutes in, ending the first half 1-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

Substitutions for Leicester included Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka for Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy, respectively. Man U brought on Casemiro, Cristiano Ronaldo and Fred, to replace Anthony Elanga, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

There were bookings for Jamie Vardy from Leicester. For Man U, Diogo Dalot, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez saw yellow.

Leicester will play their next fixture away against Brighton & Hove Albion, while Man U will face Arsenal at home.
