Leicester 0 – Villa 0: Both sides unable to find the net and the win

Leicester were held to 0-0 draw by Villa down on Saturday at the King Power Stadium. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Leicester were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Newcastle United. Villa were beaten 4-0 in the previous match against Tottenham Hotspur. As the table looks today, Leicester and Villa currently occupy 10th and 15th spots in the league, with 42 points and 37 points respectively after 34 matches.

Both managers used allfull available substitutions. For Leicester, Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes and Ayoze Perez, came on for Patson Daka, Ademola Lookman and Youri Tielemans, Villa replaced Tim Iroegbunam, Emiliano Buendia and Marvelous Nakamba with Douglas Luiz, Philippe Coutinho and Jacob Ramsey.

There were bookings for Nampalys Mendy, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Maddison from Leicester. For Villa, Douglas Luiz and Leon Bailey saw yellow.

Leicester will next play Tottenham Hotspur away, with Villa facing Norwich City at home.
