Arsenal eased past Leeds United in a 1-0 victory on Sunday at Elland Road. Leeds were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace in their previous fixture. Arsenal were hoping to continue their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Leeds and Arsenal currently occupy 15th and 1st spots in the league, with 9 points and 27 points respectively after 11 matches.

Arsenal started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with a goal from Bukayo Saka, 35 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Leeds included Patrick Bamford, Mateusz Klich, Crysencio Summerville and Joe Gelhardt for Rodrigo Moreno, Jack Harrison, Marc Roca and Luis Sinisterra, respectively. Arsenal brought on Fabio Vieira, Kieran Tierney, Edward Nketiah and Rob Holding for Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.

The referee booked two players from Arsenal, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.

Leeds will next play Leicester City away, with Arsenal facing Manchester City at home.
