Fulham 2-2 Bournemouth: The Cottagers fight back twice to earn a home point

Fulham were helde ach other to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth on Saturday at Craven Cottage. Fulham were looking forward to playing again after losing their last match 3-1 to West Ham United. Bournemouth, meanwhile, were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-1 victory against Leicester City. Fulham are now in 10th place on the table and have 12 points while Bournemouth sit in 9th with 13 points after 11 matches.

The Cherries started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Dominic Solanke in the 2nd minute. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Issa Diop in the 22nd minute, brought Fulham level. However, Bournemouth found the back of the net following a Jefferson Lerma goal, at 29 minutes, finishing the first half 2-1.

The Cottagers started the second half with renewed vigour, when Aleksandar Mitrovic found the net on the 52 minute mark, seing the match finish 2-2.

Substitutions for Fulham included Tom Cairney, Willian, Harry Wilson and Carlos Vinicius for Harrison Reed, Daniel James, Neeskens Kebano and Andreas Pereira, respectively. Bournemouth brought on Jaidon Anthony, Jordan Zemura, Jack Stacey and Kieffer Moore, to replace Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing, Ryan Christie and Dominic Solanke.

The referee booked Bobby Reid and Tim Ream for Fulham.

Bournemouth and Fulham will next play at home to Southampton and Aston Villa respectively.
