Fulham 3-0 Aston Villa: The Cottagers rampant at Craven Cottage

Fulham beat Aston Villa with a 3-0 victory on Thursday at Craven Cottage. Fulham were looking for a victory after a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth. Villa were beaten 2-0 in their previous match against Chelsea. Fulham are currently 9th with 15 points from 12 matches, while Villa sit in 17th, with 9 points from 12.

The Cottagers scored first, when Harrison Reed opened the rout, 36 minutes in to see them go in at half time 1-0 up.

Fulham once more applied the pressure in the second half and were rewarded, when Aleksandar Mitrovic found the net, at 68 minutes. Fulham then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Tyrone Mings on the 83 minute mark to make it 3-0.

Substitutions for Fulham included Daniel James, Tom Cairney, Carlos Vinicius, Harry Wilson and Luke Harris for Willian, Harrison Reed, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Neeskens Kebano and Andreas Pereira, respectively. Villa brought on Matty Cash, Emiliano Buendia, Leander Dendoncker and Cameron Archer, to replace Jan Bednarek, Leon Bailey, Danny Ings and Jacob Ramsey.

Fulham will next travel to Leeds United, while Villa will face Brentford at home.
