Everton 1 – Chelsea 0: One goal makes difference for The Toffees at home

Chelsea on away loss to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday. Everton arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to Liverpool. Chelsea, on the other hand, secured a point against Manchester United in their previous match. After today’s result, Everton and Chelsea currently occupy 18th and 3rd spots in the league, with 32 points and 66 points respectively after 35 matches.
It was an impressive opening from Everton, thanks to Richarlison finding the net just before half-time Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
Both coaches used the full entitlement. For Everton, Allan, Salomon Rondon and Dele Alli, came on for Fabian Delph, Richarlison and Demarai Gray, Chelsea brought on Mateo Kovacic, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic to replace Jorginho, Timo Werner and Cesar Azpilicueta.
