Chelsea 1 – Brentford 4: The Bees deliver emphatic win, at Stamford Bridge

Brentford cruises against Chelsea on an away win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Chelsea were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches against Norwich City away and Burnley away, by 3-1 and 4-0 respectively. Brentford lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Leicester City. As the table looks today, Chelsea and Brentford are 3rd, (59 points) and 14th, (33 points), spots respectively, after 31 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on The Blues who started the second half well, with an early goal from Antonio Rudiger in the 48th minute. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Vitaly Janelt in the 50th minute, brought Brentford level. The Bees looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Christian Eriksen in the 54th minute to establish a 2-1. The momentum was now with Brentford, who then scored again through a second effort from Vitaly Janelt, 60 minutes in to establish a 3-1. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Yoane Wissa just before the final whistle with a final score of 4-1.
Chelsea brought on Reece James, Mateo Kovacic and Romelu Lukaku for Marcos Alonso, Timo Werner and N’Golo Kante. Brentford brought on Mathias Jensen, Yoane Wissa and Sergi Canos, to replace Vitaly Janelt, Bryan Mbeumo and Rico Henry.
Chelsea will next travel to Southampton, while Brentford will face West Ham United at home.
