Arsenal 1 – Brighton 2: The Seagulls ease past The Gunners at Emirates Stadium

Brighton & Hove Albion enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Arsenal were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Crystal Palace. Brighton secured a point against Norwich City in their previous match. As things stand, Arsenal are in 5th place on the table and has 54 points while Brighton sit in 13th with 34 points after 32 matches.
The Seagulls started the game well, with Leandro Trossard finding the net in the 28th minute, seeing out the first half 0-1.
Brighton continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Enock Mwepu finding the net at the 66 minute mark. In the end though, The Gunners just before the final whistle pull-back thanks to a Martin Odegaard goal. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 2-1 to Brighton.
For Arsenal, Edward Nketiah and Nicolas Pepe, came on for Emile Smith-Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli. Brighton brought on Adam Lallana, Tariq Lamptey and Adam Webster for Yves Bissouma, Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard.
There were bookings for Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga from Arsenal, and Yves Bissouma, Pascal Gross, Moisés Caicedo and Robert Sanchez, for Brighton.
Next up, Arsenal are away to Southampton, whilst Brighton will travel to face Tottenham Hotspur.
