Nashville SC beated Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 on Sunday at BC Place Stadium. As it stands, Caps are currently 9th with 34 points from 39 matches, while Nashville sit in 5th, with 39 points from 39.

Nashville started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Leal opened the rout, 19 minutes in. Nashville then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Maher, 23 minutes in. The score at half time was 2-0.

Nashville started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with an early second effort from Maher in the 49th minute. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 3-0 to Nashville.

Substitutions for Caps included Dájome, Cavallini, Godinho, Vite and Ricketts for Berhalter, Raposo, Brown, Schöpf and White, repectively. Nashville brought on Haakenson, Shaffelburg, Lovitz, Tah Anunga and Mccarty, to replace Leal, Mukhtar, Zubak, Godoy and Davis.

The referee booked six players. Brown and Blackmon from Caps, who saw yellow cards and Cavallini, sent off with a red, as well as for Nashville Washington, Davis and Lovitz also seeing yellows.
