Los Angeles 0-1 Nashville: Bunbury wins it for The Black and Gold

Nashville SC defeated Los Angeles FC 1-0 on Monday at Banc of California Stadium. Following the final whistle at the end of the last match of the MLS season for both sides, Los Angeles are now in 1st place on the table and have 67 points while Nashville sit in 5th with 50 points after 48 matches.

After an uneventful first half, whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on Nashville who started the second half strongly, when Bunbury found the net, 53 minutes in. When the final whistle blew, the result was 1-0 to Nashville.

Substitutions for Los Angeles included Tello, Opoku, Cifuentes, Mendez and Escobar for Vela, Arango, Blessing, Kellyn Acosta and Hollingshead, respectively. Nashville brought on Tah Anunga, Maher, Miller, Sapong and Godoy, to replace Mccarty, Zimmerman, Leal, Bunbury and Shaffelburg.

The referee booked three players from Nashville, Mccarty, Tah Anunga and Sapong.
