Toronto FC 2-2 San Jose: Late Skahan goal rescues a point for SJ

Phili were held to 2-2 draw by San Jose down on Sunday at BMO Field. After today’s result, both teams are on 19 points and sit in 13th and 13th places respectively after 27 matches.
Quakes started the match well, when Ebobisse gave San Jose the lead, 26 minutes in, ending the first half 1-0.
Phili took the initiative in the second half, when Kerr found the net, 71 minutes in. Phili looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Osorio in the 75th minute to establish a 2-1. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Jack Skahan equalised for San Jose just before the final whistle and saw the match end 2-2.
Substitutions for Phili included Akinola, Marshall-Ruty, Shaffelburg and Achara for Petrasso, Criscito, Nelson and Kerr, repectively. San Jose brought on Cowell, Remedi, Jack Skahan, Salinas and Bouda, to replace Benjamin Kikanovic, Judson, Espinoza, Gregus and Marie.
There were bookings for Kerr from Phili, and Yueill, for San Jose.
Next up, Phili are away to Montréal, whilst San Jose will travel to face LA Galaxy.
