Kansas 1-0 Seattle: The Wizards edge past the Sounders

Sporting Kansas City beat Seattle Sounders with a 1-0 victory on Monday at Children’s Mercy Park. both teams are now on 40 points and sit in 12th and 11th places respectively after 47 matches.

Kansas started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Agada found the net just before half-time With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-0.

Substitutions for Kansas included Hernandez, Pierre, Ford and Shelton for Espinoza, Zusi, Thommy and Russell, respectively. Seattle brought on Montero, Bruin, Medranda, Dobbelaere and Leo Chú, to replace Leyva, Arreaga, Morris, Roldan and Atencio.

There were bookings for Thommy from Kansas, and Arreaga and Atencio, for Seattle.

Kansas will next play FC Dallas away, with Seattle facing San Jose at home.
