Seattle 3-0 Austin: Los Verdes sunk by impressive Sounders

On Sunday, Austin suffered an away defeat to Seattle Sounders at CenturyLink Field. Seattle are now in 9th place, with 39 points from 42 matches, while Austin sit in 2nd, with 51 points from 42.
The first half of the match started well for The Sounders, when Ruidíaz opened the rout, 12 minutes in. Seattle then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a 2nd effort from Ruidíaz in the 34th minute, ending the first half 2-0.
Seattle continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, with a goal from Gabrielsen on the 68 minute mark. The match ended with a 3-0 victory for Seattle.
