San Jose 1-2 Houston: Orange Crush produce fantastic revival to secure the points

San Jose were defeated at home by Houston Dynamo at Avaya Stadium on Monday. After today’s result, San Jose are in 13th place, with 22 points from 29 matches, while Houston sit in 11th, with 25 points from 29.

After an uneventful first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on San Jose who started the second half well, when Yueill found the net at the 54 minute mark. However, they were unable to maintain their lead, Sebastián Ferreira managed to equalize and take the sides off in the 71st minute at 1-1. Orange Crush then scored once more and turned the match thanks to a goal from Úlfarsson, 77 minutes in to make it 2-1.

Substitutions for San Jose included Cowell and Jack Skahan for Benjamin Kikanovic and Remedi, repectively. Houston brought on Sebastián Ferreira, Pasher, Memo Rodríguez, Cerén and Bartlow, to replace Vera, Úlfarsson, Quintero, Picault and Carrasquilla.

There were bookings for Jamiro Monteiro from San Jose, and Parker, Vera and Picault, for Houston.
