San Jose 1-2 Dallas: Visitors dig in for a point

On Sunday, San Jose and Dallas played out a 1-1 draw at Avaya Stadium. San Jose are now in 14th place, with 31 points from 44 matches, while Dallas sit in 3rd, with 50 points from 44.

Dallas started strongly in the first half, when Obrián found the net, 16 minutes in. However, their lead was short-lived, as Ebobisse equalised for San Jose in the 24th minute and saw the first half out 1-1. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-1 at full time.

Substitutions for San Jose included Espinoza, Thompson and Niko Tsakiris for Benjamin Kikanovic, Marie and Judson, respectively. Dallas brought on Ntsabeleng, Jesús Ferreira, Kamungo, Quignon and Hedges, to replace Jara, Pomykal, Obrián, Cerrillo and Martínez.

The referee booked Nathan Pelae from San Jose. Dallas had the worst of it though, with Obrián, Farfan, Martínez and Cerrillo seeing yellow, and Arriola then sent off with a red.
