Red Bulls 0-2 Philadelphia 2: Eastern leaders Union deliver away win

Philadelphia Union strolled past Red Bulls with a 2-0 win on Sunday at Red Bull Arena. Red Bulls are now in 3rd place, with 47 points from 40 matches, while Union sit in 1st, with 60 points from 40.

After an uneventful first half, Union certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, with an early goal from Uhre in the 49th minute. Union then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Gazdag in the 75th minute to make it 2-0.

Substitutions for Red Bulls included Duncan, Fernandez, Clark and Barlow for Reyes, Dylan Nealis, Luquinhas and Elias Manoel, respectively. Union brought on Carranza, Bedoya and Aaronson, to replace Burke, Real and Uhre.

The referee booked seven players. Yearwood from Red Bulls, who saw yellow cards and Yearwood (2 yellow cards) and Yearwood, sent off with a red, as well as for Union Glesnes, Burke, Elliott and Gazdag also seeing yellows.
