Philadelphia Union 1-1 Cincinnati: No winning touch produced at Subaru Park

On Sunday, Union and Cin were held to a 1-1 draw at Subaru Park. Following today’s result, Union are currently 3rd with 26 points from 21 matches, while Cin sit in 7th, with 20 points from 21.

Union started the first half well, when Bedoya found the net, 17 minutes in. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Vázquez equalised for Cin just before halftime, finishing the first half 1-1. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.

Substitutions for Union included Burke, Real and Donovan for Uhre, Leon Flach and Carranza, repectively. Cin brought on Acosta and Cruz, to replace Barreal and Medunjanin.

There were bookings for Burke from Union. For Cin, Medunjanin, Nwobodo, Hagglund and John Nelson saw yellow.
