Orlando 3-2 Seattle: The Lions edge The Sounders with stoppage-time winner

Orlando City beat Seattle Sounders with a 3-2 victory on Thursday at Exploria Stadium. Orlando and Seattle sit 5th and 10th places with 42 points and 33 points respectively.

The Sounders started the first half well, when Rusnák found the net, 26 minutes in to see out the first half 1-0.

Seattle started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with a goal from Ruidíaz on the 52 minute mark. However, Orlando refused to lie down and managed to pull back a goal from Torres in the 53rd minute. The Lions looked to have the match under control when they scored again to grab the advantage, thanks to a goal from Kara, 68 minutes in to establish a 2-2. They then extended the lead with a goal from Smith just before the full time to make it 3-2.

Substitutions for Orlando included Torres, Michel, Kara, Perea and Smith for Gioacchini, Ruan, Akindele, Angulo and Pereyra, respectively. Seattle replaced Medranda, Leyva and Morris for Rowe, Atencio and Bruin.

There were bookings for Antônio Carlos and Moutinho from Orlando. For Seattle, Roldan saw yellow.
