Orlando 0-3 Revs: The Lions tamed as New England bank the points

Orlando City fell to a home defeat at the hands of New England Revolution at Exploria Stadium on Sunday. After today’s result, both teams are on 30 points and sit in 9th and 7th places respectively after 34 matches.

Revs started the first half well, when Polster opened the rout, 20 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-0.

Revs fought back, when Kaptoum found the net at the 52 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Henry Kessler made it 3-0 in the 75th minute to make it 3-0.

Both teams used all available substitutes. Substitutions for Orlando included Angulo, Gioacchini, Akindele and Smith for Júnior Urso, Pereyra, Michel and Ruan, repectively, Revs brought on Traustason and Boateng to replace Maciel and Rennicks.

The referee booked Antônio Carlos, Jansson and Araujo for Orlando.
