Nashville 1-1 Galaxy: Stalemate at Nissan Stadium as visitors net late

On Saturday, Nashville and Galaxy played out a 1-1 draw at Nissan Stadium. Nashville are now in 3rd place, with 46 points from 42 matches, while Galaxy sit in 8th, with 40 points from 42.

Nashville started the match strongly, with a goal from Mukhtar, 28 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-0.

Galaxy took the initiative in the second half, when Riqui Puig found the net just before the full time, to level the score at 1-1.

Substitutions for Nashville included Bunbury, Mccarty, Muyl, Haakenson and Maher for Sapong, Godoy, Shaffelburg, Leal and Davis, respectively. Galaxy brought on Costa, Araujo, Chase Gasper, Grandsir and Joveljic for Cáceres, Víctor Vázquez, Edwards, Cabral and Williams.

The referee booked ten players. Zimmerman, Romney, Leal and Moore from Nashville, who saw yellow cards and Zimmerman (2 yellow cards), sent off with a red, as well as for Galaxy Coulibaly, Williams, Riqui Puig, Edwards and Víctor Vázquez also seeing yellows.
