Nashville 4-0 Dallas: Bad day for the Burn at Nissan Stadium

Nashville SC stunt FC Dallas 4-0 on Monday at Nissan Stadium. As it stands, Nashville are in 6th place in the table and have 36 points while Dallas sit in 3rd with 42 points after 38 matches.

Nashville didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, with an early goal from Mukhtar in the 5th minute. Nashville looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Shaffelburg at the 27 minute mark to establish a 2-0. However they weren’t finished yet and Mukhtar made it 3-0, at 33 minutes, which saw the first half end 3-0.

Nashville continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Romney found the net, 72 minutes in, sealing a resounding 4-0 victory for the home side.

Substitutions for Nashville included Muyl, Miller, Godoy, Tah Anunga and Haakenson for Shaffelburg, Moore, Mccarty, Davis and Leal, repectively. Dallas brought on Beni Redzic, Lletget, Tafari, Nanu and Obrián, to replace Cerrillo, Ntsabeleng, Hedges, Arriola and Velasco.

The referee booked three players from Dallas, Pomykal, Lletget and Twumasi.
