Montreal 4-0 Revs: New England toppled as The Impact romp to win

Montréal ease to a comfortable 4-0 win at Stade Saputo. After today’s result, MON are in 2nd place, with 46 points from 37 matches, while Revs sit in 7th, with 34 points from 37.

MON didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, when Kamara opened the rout, at 27 minutes. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Quioto at the 39 minute mark, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.

MON started the second half with an intensified spirit, when Quioto found the net again after 55 minutes. MON then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a penalty goal from Miljevic just before the final whistle with a final score of 4-0.

Substitutions for MON included Torres, Toye, Miljevic, Bassong and Koné for Lappalainen, Quioto, Kamara, Choiniere and Piette, repectively. Revs brought on Boateng, Makoun, Damian Rivera, González and Spaulding, to replace De La Garza, Mcnamara, Rennicks, Farrell and Dejuan Jones.

There were bookings for Corbo from MON. For Revs, Carles Gil saw yellow.
