D.C. United on away loss to MON at Stade Saputo on Sunday. MON are now in 2nd place, with 62 points from 46 matches, while D.C. sit in 14th, with 27 points from 46.

MON dominated the first half, when Pines gave them the lead just before half-time Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for MON included Kwizera, Kamara, Piette, Johnston and Zouhir for Lappalainen, Toye, Choiniere, Brault-Guillard and Koné, respectively. D.C. replaced Hopkins, Rodríguez, Pálsson, Djeffal and Miguel Berry for Morrison, Smith, Odoi-Atsem, Alfaro and Ku-Dipietro.

MON will next travel to Inter Miami, while D.C. will face Cincinnati at home.
