Minnesota 0 – Dallas 3: Defeat for The Loons at the hands of visitors

FC Dallas see Minnesota United off 3-0 on Saturday at Allianz Field. Minnesota are now in 4th place, with 44 points from 40 matches, while Dallas sit in 3rd, with 46 points from 40.

After a goalless first half, Dallas certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, when Boxall gave them the lead, at 55 minutes. Dallas looked to have the match under control when they scored again to grab the advantage, thanks to a goal from Velasco, 56 minutes in to establish a 2-0. They then extended the lead with a goal from Jesús Ferreira on the 58 minute mark to give a final score of 3-0.

Substitutions for Minnesota included García, Benítez, González, Rosales and Arriaga for Reynoso, Lawrence, Lod, Hlongwane and Trapp, respectively. Dallas brought on Servania, Quignon, Nanu, Jara and Obrián, to replace Pomykal, Cerrillo, Farfan, Velasco and Arriola.

The referee booked five players. Fragapane and Arriaga from Minnesota, who saw yellow cards and Fragapane (2 yellow cards), sent off with a red, as well as for Dallas Arriola and Farfan received yellows.
