Los Angeles 2-1 Seattle: The Black and Gold hold off the The Sounders
Los Angeles FC strolled past Seattle Sounders with a 2-1 win on Saturday at Banc of California Stadium. As it stands, Los Angeles are currently 1st with 48 points from 31 matches, while Seattle sit in 9th, with 29 points from 31.
The Sounders started strongly in the first half, with a goal from Murillo at the 14 minute mark. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Opoku, 35 minutes in brought Los Angeles level. However they weren’t finished yet and Vela made it 2-1 just before halftime, to take a 2-1 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 2-1.
