LA Galaxy 4-0 Montreal: Montreal’s form halted in heavy loss in Los Angeles

LA Galaxy eased past Montréal in a 4-0 victory on Tuesday at StubHub Center. After today’s result, Galaxy are currently 5th with 27 points from 26 matches, while MON sit in 4th, with 29 points from 26.

Galaxy didn’t take long to start the rout, when Chicharito opened the rout in the 8th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a penalty goal from Joveljic just before halftime, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.

Galaxy continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Raveloson found the net, at 61 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Raveloson made it 4-0 at the 79 minute mark to make it 4-0.

Substitutions for Galaxy included Aguirre, Víctor Vázquez, Leerdam, Nick Depuy and Klještan for Joveljic, Alvarez, Grandsir, Coulibaly and Chicharito, repectively. MON replaced Toye, Miljevic, Choiniere, Miller and Kamara with Torres, Piette, Lappalainen, Kwizera and Quioto.

There were bookings for Delgado from Galaxy. For MON, Piette and Miljevic saw yellow.
