Inter 4-1 Orlando: The Herons win battle of Florida

Inter Miami strolled past Orlando City with a 4-1 win on Thursday at Inter Miami CF Stadium. Inter and Orlando sit 7th, (39 points) and 5th, (42 points), spots respectively, after 41 matches.

The Herons started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Campana in the 1st minute. Inter then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Higuaín, 38 minutes in. The score at break remained 2-0.

Inter started the second half with an intensified spirit, when Higuaín found the net once more in the 52nd minute. Inter looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Lassiter, 56 minutes in to establish a 4-0. In the end though, Orlando then grabbed a goal from Kara on the 71 minute mark, seing the match finish 4-1.

Substitutions for Inter included Lassiter, Ulloa, Brek Shea and Rodríguez for Campana, Vassilev, Higuaín and Taylor, respectively. Orlando brought on Ruan, Angulo, Kara, Halliday and Cartagena, to replace Smith, Michel, Akindele, Moutinho and Pereyra.

The referee booked Antônio Carlos and Júnior Urso for Orlando.

Next up, Inter are away to Chicago Fire, whilst Orlando will travel to face Philadelphia Union.
