Inter Miami 3-2 Charlotte: Inter snap losing streak with home success

Inter Miami snatched all three points from Charlotte FC in a 3-2 victory on Sunday, at Inter Miami CF Stadium. Following today’s result, Inter are in 10th place in the table and have 25 points while Charlotte sit in 8th with 26 points after 28 matches.

Charlotte started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Reyna in the 1st minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a 2nd effort from Reyna just before halftime, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.

The Herons continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Taylor, 59 minutes in. The momentum was now with Inter, who then scored again through a goal from Higuaín at the 72 minute mark to establish a 2-2. However they weren’t finished yet and Rodríguez made it 3-2 just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-2.

Substitutions for Inter included Gibbs, Bryce Duke, Higuaín, Rodríguez and Ulloa for Lowe, Vassilev, Campana, Taylor and Pozuelo, repectively. Charlotte brought on Bender, Mora, Shinyashiki, Lindsey and Makoun, to replace Mcneill, Afful, Swiderski, Reyna and Corujo.

There were bookings for Lowe and Bryce Duke from Inter, and Afful, Sergio Ruiz, Jóźwiak, Swiderski and Corujo, for Charlotte.
