Dallas 0-2 Vancouver Whitecaps: First-half goals earn the Caps three points

Vancouver Whitecaps strolled past FC Dallas with a 2-0 win on Sunday at Toyota Stadium. As things stand, Dallas are in 3rd place in the table and have 25 points while Caps sit in 8th with 20 points after 21 matches.

The first half of the match started favourably for Caps, with an early goal from Cavallini in the 2nd minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Caicedo made it 2-0 just before halftime, finishing the first half 2-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 2-0 at full time.

Substitutions for Dallas included Jara, Obrián, Cerrillo, Quiñónez and Ntsabeleng for Servania, Twumasi, Quignon, Martínez and Pomykal, repectively. Caps brought on Nerwinski, Jungwirth, Martins, Gauld and White, to replace Blackmon, Cubas, Godinho, Caicedo and Dájome.

The referee booked Quignon, Farfan and Velasco for Dallas.
