Dallas 4-1 San Jose: Ferreira brace for Burn helps Dallas to easy win

FC Dallas see San Jose off 4-1 on Sunday at Toyota Stadium. As the table looks today, Dallas are in 3rd place, with 39 points from 35 matches, while San Jose sit in 13th, with 24 points from 35.

Dallas didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, with an early goal from Jesús Ferreira in the 3rd minute. Dallas looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Farfan at the 20 minute mark to establish a 2-0. Dallas then netted again and increased their lead thanks to a second effort from Jesús Ferreira just before halftime to see out the first half 3-0.

Dallas continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Velasco found the net, at 57 minutes. In the end though, Quakes secured the points emphatically, with a goal from Ebobisse at the 60 minute mark so at full time it was 4-1 to Dallas.

Substitutions for Dallas included Jara, Pomykal, Elmedkhar, Obrián and Tafari for Ntsabeleng, Jesús Ferreira, Lletget, Arriola and Martínez, repectively. San Jose replaced Jack Skahan, Niko Tsakiris, Cowell and Gregus with Thompson, Jamiro Monteiro, Judson and Benjamin Kikanovic.

There were bookings for Cerrillo and Pomykal from Dallas. For San Jose, Nathan Pelae saw yellow.
