Dallas 1-0 Philadelphia: Union fail to make their mark on visit to Dallas

FC Dallas’ 1-0 win over Philadelphia Union on Thursday, was hard fought at Toyota Stadium. Following today’s result, Dallas are currently 3rd with 42 points from 36 matches, while Union sit in 1st, with 48 points from 36.

Dallas started the first half well, with a goal from Jesús Ferreira at the 34 minute mark. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

Substitutions for Dallas included Jara, Tafari, Nanu and Ntsabeleng for Jesús Ferreira, Lletget, Velasco and Arriola, repectively. Union brought on Uhre, Jack Mcglynn, Mbaizo, Donovan and Aaronson, to replace Burke, Leon Flach, Harriel, Carranza and José Martinez.

There were bookings for Martínez and Jesús Ferreira from Dallas, and Gazdag and Mbaizo, for Union.
