D.C. United 2-1 Orlando City: Black-and-Red land the narrow win at Audi Field

Orlando City fell to an away defeat at the hands of D.C. United at Audi Field on Monday. At the moment, D.C. are in 14th place in the table and have 21 points while Orlando sit in 6th with 30 points after 32 matches.

Orlando started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Júnior Urso found the net at the 9 minute mark, concluding the first half 1-0.

D.C. continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Fountas, 89 minutes in. Black-and-Red then scored once more and turned the match thanks to a goal from Chris Durkin just before the final whistle with a final score of 2-1.

Substitutions for D.C. included Rodríguez, Kamara, Najar and Smith for Djeffal, Odoi-Atsem, Miguel Berry and Sami Guediri, repectively. Orlando brought on Perea, Gioacchini, Smith and Schlegel, to replace Pereyra, Torres, Moutinho and Michel.

There were bookings for Djeffal from D.C., and Moutinho and Michel, for Orlando.
