Colorado 1-0 Dallas 0: Rapids take good three points aginast Dallas

Colorado Rapids banked all three points against the FC Dallas in a 1-0 victory on Saturday, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. COLO are now in 9th place, with 42 points from 46 matches, while Dallas sit in 3rd, with 50 points from 46.

Following a goalless first half, COLO applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Rubio gave them the lead, 66 minutes in. They managed to close the match out with a clean sheet and a well-earned of 1-0 victory.

Substitutions for COLO included Wilson, Darren Yapi, Acosta, Jonathan Lewis and Moor for Beitashour, Barrios, Gutierrez, Rubio and Zardes, respectively. Dallas brought on Servania, Cerrillo, Twumasi and Beni Redzic, to replace Elmedkhar, Quignon, Nanu and Obrián.

The referee booked Darren Yapi and Yarbrough from COLO and Vallecilla went off with a red card, while Dallas’ Pomykal also received a yellow.
