Cincinnati 1-0 Orlando: Visitors fail to recover in loss at Cincinnati

Cincinnati snatched all three points from Orlando City in a narrow 1-0 victory on Saturday, at Nippert Stadium. After today’s result, Cincinnati are currently 6th with 23 points from 22 matches, while Orlando sit in 4th, with 24 points from 22.

After a goalless first half, Cincinnati piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Brenner in the 65th minute. They managed to see the match out with a clean sheet and a final score of 1-0.

Substitutions for Cincinnati included Acosta, Cruz, Markanich, Kubo and Murphy for John Nelson, Medunjanin, Vázquez, Brenner and Barreal, repectively. Orlando brought on Michel, Antônio Carlos, Pato and Akindele, to replace Williams, Mulraney, Kara and Júnior Urso.

There were bookings for Brenner from Cin. For Orlando, Smith saw yellow.
