Cincinnati 2-0 Charlotte: Orange and Blue seal clean sheet victory

Cincinnati eased past Charlotte FC in a 2-0 victory on Sunday at Nippert Stadium. Cin and Charlotte currently occupy 7th and 13th spots in the table, with 38 points and 32 points respectively after 40 matches.

Cin found the net first, with a goal from Hagglund on the 38 minute mark, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.

Orange and Blue once more applied the pressure in the second half and were rewarded, when Acosta found the net on the 81 minute mark, seing the match finish 2-0.

Substitutions for Cin included Kubo, Ray Gaddis, Santos, John Nelson and Badji for Moreno, Powell, Brenner, Barreal and Vázquez, respectively. Charlotte brought on Swiderski, Shinyashiki, Nuno Santos, Byrne and Reyna for Bender, Jones, Ríos, Afful and Kerwin Vargas.

There were bookings for Barreal and Acosta from Cin. For Charlotte, Bender, Nuno Santos and Reyna saw yellow.
