Chicago 1 – Union 0: Visitors unable to get win at Soldier Field

After an uneventful first half, Chicago piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Federico Navarro, at 68 minutes. The match ended with a 1-0 victory for Chicago.
Chicago brought on Jonathan Bornstein, Brian Gutierrez and Jhon Espinoza for André Reynolds II, Fabian Herbers and Chris Mueller. Union brought on Olivier Mbaizo, Cory Burke and Chris Donovan, to replace Nathan Harriel, Julian Carranza and Mikael Uhre.
The referee booked Carlos Teran from Chicago. Union had the worst of it though, with Jose Martinez, Alejandro Bedoya, Kai Wagner and Daniel Gazdag seeing yellow, and Jose Martinez (2 yellow cards) then sent off with a red.
