Wycombe 1-1 Morecambe FC: Adams Park sees a stalemate

On Saturday, Wycombe and Morecambe FC played out a 1-1 draw at Adams Park. Both sides arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Wycombe were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 3-2 to Cambridge Utd, while Morecambe FC were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against Cheltenham Town. Wycombe are now in 13th place, with 21 points from 17 matches, while Morecambe FC sit in 23rd, with 12 points from 17.

Wycombe started the first half well, when Christian Forino found the net, 20 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-0.

Morecambe FC took the initiative in the second half, thanks to a goal from Adam Major on the 81 minute mark, to level the score at 1-1.

Substitutions for Wycombe included Brandon Hanlan for Garath McCleary, respectively. Morecambe FC replaced Caleb Watts, Kieran Phillips and Jensen Weir for Cole Stockton, Adam Major and Shane McLoughlin.

There were bookings for Alfie Mawson and Max Stryjek from Wycombe, and Jensen Weir, Liam Gibson and Donald Love, for Morecambe FC.

Wycombe will play their next fixture away against Forest Green Rovers, while Morecambe FC will face Portsmouth FC at home.
