On Saturday, Wycombe and Charlton Athletic were held to a 1-1 draw at Adams Park. Wycombe were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run, following a 3-0 victory against Barnsley. Charlton Athletic are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Wycombe are in 12th place in the table and have 7 points while Charlton Athletic sit in 8th with 9 points after 6 matches.

Wycombe started the match well, when Anis Mehmeti found the net, 14 minutes in. However, their lead was short lived, as Jesuran Rak-Sakyi equalised for Charlton Athletic in the 15th minute, to take a 1-1 lead into half time. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-1.

Substitutions for Wycombe included Nick Freeman, Jason McCarthy, Daryl Horgan and Ali Al-Hamadi for David Wheeler, Joe Jacobson, Dominic Gape and Anis Mehmeti, repectively. Charlton Athletic brought on Samuel Lavelle, Jack Payne and Miles Leaburn, to replace Ryan Inniss, Albie Morgan and Charlie Kirk.

There were bookings for Josh Scowen, Alfie Mawson, Dominic Gape and Garath McCleary from Wycombe, and Sean Clare, Jesuran Rak-Sakyi and Miles Leaburn, for Charlton Athletic.
