West Brom 1 – Fulham 0: The Cottagers beaten away by The Baggies

West Bromwich Albion eased past Fulham in a 1-0 victory on Tuesday at The Hawthorns. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. West Brom wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Huddersfield Town in their previous game. Fulham are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, West Brom are in 12th place, with 53 points from 38 matches, while Fulham sit in 1st, with 77 points from 38.

Following a goalless first half, West Brom piled on the pressure in the second, thanks to Callum Robinson giving The Baggies the lead at the 64 minute mark. The game ended 1-0.

Both coaches used the full entitlement. For West Brom, Andy Carroll, Grady Diangana and Jayson Molumby, came on for Callum Robinson, Karlan Grant and Alex Mowatt, Fulham brought on Ivan Cavaleiro, Tom Cairney and Rodrigo Muniz, to replace Bobby Reid, Harrison Reed and Neco Williams.

There were bookings for Jayson Molumby from West Brom. For Fulham, Neco Williams saw yellow.

West Brom will next travel to Bristol City, while Fulham will face Nottingham Forest at home.
