Sunderland AFC 1 – Burton Albion 1: Plenty of goals but no win at Stadium of Light

On Tuesday, Sunderland AFC and Burton Albion were held to a 1-1 draw at Stadium of Light. Both teams came from defeats in their previous league games. Sunderland AFC arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to Milton Keynes Dons. Burton Albion were beaten 3-0 in the previous match against Ipswich Town. After an un-eventful first half, Burton Albion certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, thanks to a goal from Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, at 53 minutes. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Ross Stewart equalised for Sunderland AFC just before the final whistle. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.
