Shrewsbury Town 3 – Doncaster Rovers 3: Plenty of goals but no win at Montgomery Waters Meadow

Shrewsbury Town were held to 3-3 draw by Doncaster Rovers down on Monday at Montgomery Waters Meadow. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Shrewsbury Town arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing 3-2 to Sunderland AFC in their previous fixture. Doncaster Rovers lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Bolton Wanderers. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Shaun Whalley just before half-time to see out the first half 3-0.
Doncaster Rovers started the second half with renewed vigour, thanks to a goal from Ademipo Odubeko in the 54th minute. Doncaster Rovers looked to have the game under control when they scored again, thanks to a goal from Reo Griffiths, 77 minutes in to establish a 3-2. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Kyle Knoyle just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-3.
