Peterborough United 1 – Luton 1: Abax Stadium sees frustrating draw

On Tuesday, Peterborough United and Luton were held to a 1-1 draw at Abax Stadium. Peterborough United were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 4-0 to Middlesbrough. Luton are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Peterborough United and Luton currently occupy 24th and 4th spots in the league, with 27 points and 65 points respectively after 30 matches.

After a goalless first half, Luton certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, with an early goal from Danny Hylton in the 49th minute. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Jonson Clarke-Harris equalised for Peterborough United just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

For Peterborough United, Ricky Jade-Jones and Sammie Szmodics, came on for Jack Marriott and Frankie Kent. Luton brought on Henri Lansbury, Sonny Bradley and Harry Cornick, to replace Cameron Jerome, Danny Hylton and Fred Onyedinma.

There were bookings for Jeando Fuchs, Jack Marriott, Frankie Kent and Ricky Jade-Jones from Peterborough United. For Luton, Ruddock Pelly and Elijah Adebayo saw yellow.
